How do I upload a profile video?

  1. Click on the add a profile video Link under the profile picture, it will take you to the edit profile page.
  2. Click on Profile Image and Video
  3. See Introductory Video Link with a text field next to it - hover over it for hints and tips.
  4. Open your profile on YouTube (www.YouTube.com) or Vimeo (www.vimeo.com). Click upload video or record from webcam,
  5. Locate the file on your computer and upload
  6. Press share and ensure that you copy the embed code for the video
  7. Go back to nojoshmo.com and paste the code into the text field
  8. Press save at the bottom of the page.
  9. The video will now appear as your profile video as well as in your showcase under video.

To load a showcase video, click on showcase, video, add a video - and follow the same vimeo or YouTube process copying and pasting the embed code into the video file text box, adding a title, a group and more information.

The video will now appear in your showcase videos.

 

How do I invite my friends from Facebook to join nojoshmo?

To invite your friends, you need to link your Facebook account to nojoshmo.

  1. Click on the facebook icon on either the profile, home or contacts page
  2. Facebook will prompt you to log in and link the two accounts
  3. Once the accounts are linked, clik on the facebook icon again, and you will be able to invite your facebook friends to experience nojoshmo.com too!

You can now sign into nojoshmo using your Facebook ID too!

 

How do I upload a showcase item?

Each showcase item is supported by a number of specific sites. Ensure you have a personal profile on at least one of these sites in order to upload your showcase items and put your best foot forward!

Audio

  1. Click on showcase, audio
  2. Click on add an audio file, and if you hover over the URL, you will see that we accept embed code from both www.podomatic.com or www.soundcloud.com
  3. Upload your audio files on either of these sites, copy the embed code and paste it into the text box under the audio title,
  4. Once you gave given it a title and assigned it to a group - your audio file will be displayed in your showcase.

Documents

  1. Click on showcase, documents
  2. Click on add a document, you are able to choose a file to upload. We support .PDF,.doc,.xls,.txt,.png,.gif and .docx
  3. Your uploaded document will now appear in your showcase.

Images

  1. Click on showcase, images
  2. Click on add an image, if you hover over the text box which says image URL/embed code you will see that we accept embed codes from www.flickr.com, www.imageshack.com, www.photobucket.com, and www.picasa.com
  3. Upload images to these sites, copy the embed code and paste it into the text box on nojoshmo.
  4. Your images will now be displayed in your showcase.

Slides

  1. Click on showcase, slides
  2. Click on add a slideshow, if you hover over the text box which says slides you will see that we accept embed code from www.slideshare.com.
  3. Upload your slide shows into slideshare, copy the embed code and paste into the text box on nojoshmo.
  4. Your slide shows will now appear in your showcase.

Video

  1. Click on showcase, video
  2. Click on add a video, if you hover over the text box named video file, you will see that we accept embed code from www.YouTube.com and www.vimeo.com.
  3. Upload your videos on either of these sites and copy the embed code
  4. Paste into the text box named video file on nojoshmo and your video will appear in your showcase.

 

How do I get my twitter feed to show on my nojoshmo profile?

  1. Click on settings, activity stream,
  2. Under twitter settings, insert your twitter username in the text box

Nojoshmo will now pull your twitter feed and insert it into your profile.

 

Where do I find my profile or vanity URL?

  1. Click on home,
  2. Your vanity URL is listed on the bottom left of the home page - copy and paste the URL and utilize it on your resume' wherever you post it so that potential employers can see you in 3D! Even in external sites.

 

How do I search for my friends and colleagues on nojoshmo?

  1. Click on contacts, in the profile search box enter the name of the person you are looking for
  2. Press enter
  3. A search results page will show all the people who match your search criteria
  4. Once you have located the correct person, you can click on their listing and add them as a friend

If you do not find them - send an invite via the Recommend nojoshmo to: which will go directly to their email. Or invite them on Facebook!
